Heaven won't take him. Hell doesn't want him. Or something like that. The convoluted details of a plot that isn't entirely explained are not important. The direction, editing and special effects all deserve praise here. Keanu Reeves, playing perhaps the hard-edged, depressed version of Mr. Anderson, pulls off an uninspired, but good performance.

A very interesting world, nonetheless, and heck, if it inspires me to read the comic, it must be worth watching indeed.
